I had something in my pocket. It was a knife. It was covered in blood. I was trying to slow my heart rate, knowing that keeping it down would keep me from crashing later. This was one of the first things that they taught you. The second was to be impervious to the sight of blood.
They were just a business. Though, it was not a normal business, it was still just a business. We kill people. We are hired assassins. I get about 250 Gs per hit. This event had been 6 people. It was the only time I had ever gone in with a fellow employee. My team didn't know that they had silent alarms.
When we were sitting on the roof of the building across the street when the men we had been sent to take out came into the boardroom. We had already found enough windows to get three of the men. We would take out the guards first, then the businessmen. We didn't know that they carried buttons for the silent alarms.
The cops showed up after we had taken out all the men. There was only one way out of the boardroom. The door. You can guess who was on the other side. The swat team jumped in. They began shooting at us. We weren't armed, because we knew that if we shot guns while inside, we would alert someone. I was beginning to wish we had brought guns. I knew that if we didn't get out now, we'd get killed and they'd trace us back to our company. We decided to jump.
I hit the ground running. I was flying through the streets. I was sprinting. The whole world was a blur. I hid behind a dumpster to slow my heart rate and to calm down. I had a backup plan to get out of the city. I ran out the other end of the alley. While I was running, I tore off my clothes. I had a set of civillian clothes under my combat black suit. I blended in with the crowd, but it seemed that the police dogs had my scent. They were chasing me. I ran and jumped up onto a fire escape ladder. I climbed up and began jumping from roof to roof. Once I had reached the edge of town, I hopped into a car at the end of the parking lot. I pulled some of the wires out from under the steering wheel and jumped the car. I drove away. After that, I disappeared. I moved to Italy. I'm still here today.
