Running Scared

I am a baby boomer. That is what most publcations like to call us since we were born immediately after WWII. I like to be called, hey you. Now you can call me old man with a limp since some unkind fellow I was trying to kill in Vietnam shot back with a bigger gun. My point is, and I suppose, I am taking liberties in saying that no one wants to get shot, but it happens quite frequently here in America and around the world on a daily basis. We need gun control. No, please forgive that slip of the fingers. We need people control.

We are getting ready to elect a new President. That is if you still believe in the system. I think from what i see on our paid for commerical media that has already been accomplished, but for arguments sake let's pretrend that both men still have a chance until after the counting is completed. I do not know either of these men. I have never seen them in person and more than likely never will. i do wonder what they are all about and what hidden agendas they both have. I know that everyone has a hidden agenda. I have one. Hint: try not to mess a meal. My question for both canidates is why do we have gun control? Or pretend that we have it and still people are killed daily on our streets. Hint#2: more people are killed in America on a daily basis than Iraq and Afganastan.

I am thinking controlling guns is not the answer. We need to control people. Not from shooting each other, but from making love (questionalble phrase) to each other. Let me give my point after wasted words. Love making makes babies. Babies are great. People that make babies and then discard them or do not take care of them is a whole new problem. A child is a project. Not a one day or two week project, but a years long battle. Even with money and two parents a child can turn out to be a lost sole.

If casinos were placing bets on how a child would turn out after twenty years the odds would be very low. The bookies would take into consideration the stability of parents. Past parenting experience, income level, race, religon, education, dedication to past endeavors, and most importnatly where the child is being rasied and educated. The bookie would do everything to hedge the bet. That is their job. My opinion would be the bookies would lose most of the bets in todays world, including America. Problem: outside influence.

Chances your child that you (meaning both men and women) will make tonight will grow up to kill someone is a great possibility or be killed is even greater. I blame men. I am a man. Old and crippled, but I still have the equipment (not usable). Men have this need to be with a woman mostly without thinking. I know some men do not like women but that is another subject. I have done the same thing in my youthful days and I made three babies. I took care of them as best I could. They turned out pretty stable even after their mother died while two were very young.

This is the end. I promise. If elected I will tax love making. Of course this will be all on the honorary system. If you make love today please send in a check to the IRS for fifty dollars. If you make a baby due to your love making send in ten thousand dollars. (Don't have twins or multiple births as this will be expensive.)
