Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck

Their Hateful Ways Are Destroying the Moral Fabric of America

Kurt Evans
When Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck come to mind, I think about two people that are destroying the moral fabric of America for the sake of ratings. They stand on their soapboxes and scream out bloody murder to whoever will listen to their rantings. They remind of the story; Never Cry Wolf, that I heard as a child.

Values

Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, embody what I call the worst values that I have ever seen displayed publicly. In a way, they remind me of Hitler when I used to see little bits of him spouting off his hateful ways.

The Crips And The Bloods

From Rush Limbaugh and his portrayal of how he compared black football players to the street gangs The Crips and The Bloods, to Glenn Beck and his rantings about capitalism in America being overtaken by socialism.

Socialist?

The truth of the matter is that this country will never be socialist because almost everybody in America owns a gun.

What Pisses Me Off?

The thing that really pisses me off, are the people that give Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck a job.

My Opinion

In my opinion, these people should never be allowed to spout off their hateful ways to a public audience and, because we live in America and have free speech; they do what they do.

Rush Limbaugh And Glen Beck Promoting Hatred

I'm just more than a little disappointed in all of the companies that buy advertising time during Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck shows. I didn't realize that hatred was so marketable in our economy. It's just too bad that it is, because it only makes our problems worse by making people less sensitive and more fueled with hatred.

Free Country

If people expect to have a free country, free of ignorance and full of acceptance; then somehow we must educate all of the Rush Limbaugh's and Glenn Beck's of the world, about all of the good in the world.

Problems

Sure, there are problems that need to be fixed but you can't fix them by spouting off hateful messages over the airwaves.

Rush Limbaugh or Glen Beck

If there is one thing that I never hear Rush Limbaugh or Glen Beck promote, it's the idea of working together. If we ever want to get anything accomplished on this planet, we have to work together and accept each other as human beings.

Messages Of Hatred And Intolerance

There's nothing to be gained in spouting off messages of hatred and intolerance. We have to respect each other's viewpoints and live and let live.

We Reap What We Sow

If you want to live your life a certain way; then, so be it. As long as you aren't hurting anybody else, I don't have a problem with it. But, remember; we reap what we sow. When you try to shove your beliefs down another person's throat, that's what I find unacceptable.

Kurt, you really have a gift, you said in a few hundred words what would take me a few thousand. Maybe you could send this piece to some of the syndicated columnists like Cynthia Tucker, Clarence Page, David Broder. You really deserve wide recognition, and one of them might open a door for you. .......... as for the lies to which commenter Gary Franklin refers, a good number are available on politifact.com. Kurt I just have to say again, you have a true gift in how you write and express, very unique, please keep the writeups coming. ~~~ mike ~~~

I agree, we need to respect each others views without the hatred and intolerance.
