Rush Limbaugh Hospitalized for Chest Pains: Rush's Hawaiian Vacation Perhaps Less Relaxing Than Obama's

Rush Limbaugh Now Resting in Hospital After Chest Pain Incident

Rush Limbaugh, 58, was hospitalized for chest pains Wednesday afternoon. The conservative talk show host is on vacation in Hawaii. Limbaugh's disrupted vacation also occurs at the same time President Obama, his family and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi are also vacationing on the island. While the vacations of each have been interrupted, it's safe to say that Rush Limbaugh's health scare would enable him to beat the two Democrats in a bad vacation story contest.

Honolulu's KITV reported that paramedics arrived at the Kahala Hotel and resort at 2:41 p.m. (7:41 p.m. EST). They treated Limbaugh and transported him to Queen's Medical Center. Limbaugh was admitted in serious condition.

Limbaugh's website had posted this message:

"ALERT: Rush was admitted to a Honolulu hospital today and is resting comfortably after suffering chest pains. Rush

appreciates your prayers and well wishes. He will keep you updated via RushLimbaugh.com and on Thursday's radio program."

Earlier in his vacation, Rush Limbaugh had been spotted playing golf at the Waialae Country Club. The course is adjacent to the Kahala Hotel. Hopefully he was able to get some relaxing holes in, before this serious health scare.

Taking into account the proximity of Limbaugh's number one target, President Obama, vacationing on the same island, you may wonder if the President's press conference is the reason for Limbaugh's chest pains. Quick to find fault with most of the President's actions, Limbaugh may have been having a fit over the President's words or lack of tie.

All supposition aside, no information has been released on the cause of Rush Limbaugh's chest pains.

Obama may of had to put his vacation on hold to address the world concerning the Christmas Terrorist and Nancy Pelosi may of had to pause for an update, but Rush Limbaugh may have beat thing that can be ascertained is that the personal and debilitating way his vacation was ruined beats Obama having to pause his to address the nation.

This is not Rush Limbaugh's first time in the hospital. He was operated on in 2001, receiving a successful cochlear ear implant. An autoimmune inner ear disease had caused him to lose his hearing. He detoxed in 2003 from a painkiller addiction, which Limbaugh attributes to an unsuccessful back surgery.
