Rush Limbaugh Racist Quotes: Appalling and Blatantly Inaccurate
Rush Limbaugh Denies Uttering Controversial Rush Limbaugh Racist Quotes
Rush Limbaugh is a staunch conservative radio personality, and his dialogues have been widely controversial for numerous years. Several media outlets have reportedly circulated Rush Limbaugh racist quotes, although many of them aren't accurate according to Limbaugh.
Fake Rush Limbaugh racist quotes include a quote that "slavery had its merits" leave many individuals in uproar. According to NewsBusters, the fake Rush Limbaugh racist quote was actually a quote from James Farrior, a linebacker for the Steelers.
Other fake Rush Limbaugh racist quotes debunked in the NewsBusters article include the allegation that he called for the Medal of Honor to be given to the individual who killed Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
I understand why so many people are upset when they read the fake Rush Limbaugh racist quotes. There's no doubt that the way that Rush Limbaugh sees the world is highly controversial.
Why can't anyone use common sense? Do you honestly think that anyone - black or white - would say that a Medal of Honor should be given to someone who killed someone who worked hard to make our country better? Do you honestly think that Rush Limbaugh would say - on air - that "slavery had its merits"? Do you think that would be good for ratings?
Rush Limbaugh defended himself against fake Rush Limbaugh racist quotes on his Web site, stating:
There's a quote out there that I first saw it in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch last week that I somehow, some time ago, defended slavery and started cracking jokes about it. And, you know, you say a lot of things in the course of 15 hours a week, over the course of 21 years. We've gone back, we have looked at everything we have. There is not even an inkling that any words in this quote are accurate.
There's no doubt in my mind that Rush Limbaugh has said some heated things over the years, but I can't imagine him making such racially charged comments.
TheWeek.com also reports that Rush Limbaugh's last attempt at sports ended in disaster when he said that Donovan McNabb was overrated because media outlets wanted a black quarterback to do well.
Rush Limbaugh racist quotes are dubbed fake by him and authentic by various media sources. Whether or not Rush Limbaugh will be successful in his attempt to purchase the Rams has yet to be seen.

Post a CommentThere is so much audio available of Limbaugh's racial comments I am shocked people on this page are saying the opposite.
good, well-balanced and interesting article.
I think that Rush limbaugh is a racist dinosaur who should have gone into extinction a long time ago.The man and his comments have no place in a progressive society. I hope he goes to hell along with George wallace and Bull conner in a segregated bunch of idiots like himself.
Rush Get Well! Thanks for all you've taught me over the years!
Limbaugh's not racist. He's too stupid to understand big concepts like racial oppression.
You obviously don't know what you are talking about. Everyone that listens to him KNOW he does not make racists remarks.
The NFL has the right to accept or reject ownership groups for any reason. However, the left loses any of their small remaining credibility by attributing false quotes about slavery and Martin Luther King's assassination to Rush. Has anybody in the mainstream media heard of confirming the accuracy of their sources? In addition, I see that Shawn is upset by Rush's bigoted, racist rants and wishes the worst for this "scumbag" and "douchebag" and his family and for Rush's fans to follow him to hell.
Thank you, Shawn for your enlightend and uplifting political commentary. You should apply to MSNBC for a primetime show, although you probably have a greater audience on this web site.
Have you ever notice how certain "news" outlets never play the "sound bites" or their accusations? I don't always agree with Rush, but in this electronic age, next to the president, he is the most taped person in the public eye. Surely if he actually made those statements, a "legitimate" news person would be able to play a video or audio tape of it.
It's so incredibly sad that so many people are willing to simply accept the "Rush is a racist" fallacy. Amazingly, no one can come up with a shred of evidence that any of it is true. The only thing remotely close (and that's an enormous stretch) is the statement about Donovan McNabb being overrated, and the media was overly enamoured with the guy. Rush is a conservative. He is critical of both the democrats AND republicans. If you actually listen to the guy, you know this. I don't always agree with him, but I respect his opinions and his approach. Too many people are wasting their brains by burying their heads in the sand, willing to accept the lies without doing any thinking for themselves. And by burying your head in the sand, you are doing exactly what those who are spreading these lies want. And while your head in the sand, your butt is up in the air. You can guess what the liars are going to do next.
