Rush's Hamburger Restaurant in Columbia, SC
Their hamburgers taste like they were made on the grill at home. They come with fresh toppings like lettuce and tomato. You can even try a chili cheese burger. If you're not in the mood for hamburgers you can try fried chicken or their delicious pulled pork barbecue. They even have hot dogs that are also pretty good. If you still have room after your meal Rush's has delicious soft serve ice cream, sundaes, milkshakes, and apple turnovers. This is definitely not your typical fast food fare.
With food this good you will not believe how fast the service is. When you order you never have to wait much longer than a minute to receive your food. This applies even during busy times such as lunch time, when the restaurant is packed. If you go through the drive-thru you will receive the same fast and efficient services. Their motto is: Fabulous Food... Fast!, and they definitely live up to it. The restaurants are open until midnight so you can enjoy their food late if you choose to. They encourage customers to fill out comment cards, and they are very customer service-oriented.
Rush's is somewhat of a Columbia icon. Everyone knows about and loves Rush's. Rush's started in 1940 by the Rush family, dairy farmers in Columbia. They built a small drive-thru on their land called Carolina Dairies. After the building burned down in a fire it was rebuilt and opened as a Dairy Queen. In the 1960's George Rush changed the name to Rush's (http://www.rushs.net). It has been thriving in the area ever since. Post a CommentWell... thanks for the opinion, but I genuinely enjoy Rush's. I think the quality of their food is way batter then other fast food chains! It's a matter of preference I guess.
Don't get fooled by the lying ads this is the same fast food as anywhere else .They have hold bend just like the rest the only differance is you pay more for the food .When I hear the commercial and the claims but see my burger allready made then picked up some items removed before giving it to me .it's the same as the rest !!!!!!!!
