Russell Hantz is the Leak Among "Survivor" Spoilers

Russell Hantz is facing off against Boston Rob in the next season of "Survivor: Redemption Island." Russell will now be facing off with CBS and possibly in court. The new season will begin airing on February 16th at 7:00 pm CST.

Jim Ealy was sued by CBS and "Survivor" both for letting out all kinds of secrets about the show. He knew who went home and what weeks. He had a lot of information that someone could not know without a good source. He is now admitting that he had a source and it was Russell Hantz. He said he received numerous emails with information and he still has them to show proof that Russell was the leak.

They are no longer suing Ealy because he worked with them on the case. They have not said if they will sue Russell yet, but I can't see why they would let him get away with it. I see a huge lawsuit in the future and it could cost him up to 5 million dollars.

Russell was not thinking at all when he did this to himself. I am sure he did not think about what could happen down the road. He has even made a facebook page to promote himself for this season. On it, he mentions that people should not look at spoilers if they have a true love for the game. Really Russell? He should have thought about that before he put the information out there for the world to see.

Hantz could have also just messed up his chances on this season. The show is done filming, but I am sure America will not vote him to win extra money at the end. At the same time, CBS might have a way of keeping him from the money if he made it to the finals. It will be interesting to see how this one plays out.
