Of course, this neo-Nazi movement has caused much commotion in Russia. Older generations who fought Hitler's Nazis through Operation Barbarossa in 1941 are bewildered by the new generation's praise of Hitler's views. But older generations are not the main target. Russian neo-Nazis are actively seeking to widen their scope and influence more people by recruiting young adults and instilling within them the slogan "Russia for Russians." Their main goal is to overthrow the government and unite Russians for the cause of expelling foreigners from their country permanently.
The most prominent Nazi group in Russia is Russian National Unity. They have a swastika of six rays as their symbol, and use greetings such as "Hail Russia," similar to the German Nazis' "Hail Hitler!" Even further, they attempt to reach the minds of other Russians through revolutionary songs that encourage national rebellion against the current governing regimen.
Several minorities of different religions and ethnicities have fallen victims to hate crimes, and have been protesting against Russian neo-Nazi discrimination for years. Simultaneously, Russian human rights groups are saying that racism is spreading among Russians at an alarming rate. Most Russians agree that foreigners have too much power, and a surprisingly high number of them consider neo-Nazis to be sanitizers of Russia.
Russian human rights groups are angered by the rise of racism, but political laziness in reaction is what's really pushing them to the edge. They report that injuries and murders resulting from neo-Nazi racism are usually filed as "hooliganism." Human rights groups see this as a political lack of will to fight racism in Russia. They also believe that the government is indirectly benefiting from this growing wave of fear in that at the end, when all else fails, a fascist leader will have to take charge to bring everything back to order. In other words, such circumstances will result in giving ultimate power to some form of tyrannical government.
Meanwhile, due to the rise in the number of attacks, several foreign students have abandoned their studies in Russia (mainly St. Petersburg) and left for home.

I think all the Neo-Nazi thing was very populer fashion in the late 70's-early 80's in Weastern European countries, during the time of high unemploiment and economic decline. But the Russians lived in a Communist state back then and didn't expirience that mood in Weastern Europe. In one way the Russian youth is expiriencing what the Weastern European youths did 30 years ago and partially it is caused by the sharp decline of the Russian economy since 1991,remember its the collapse of the German economy in 1918 that gave rise to Hitler and the Nazi Party. But one thing sounds too wrong here when Hitler preached Nazizm he always regarded the Slavic people specially the Russian as "subhuman" only woarthy of being slave to the Aryans of the Weastern Europe.any Russian who seriously claims to be a Russian Nationlist must always be on the opposit side of Nazizim and Hitler,as they were the only things that ever thretend to destroy Russia and every thing Russian. So i belive these Russian kids ar
Well racism can appear anywhere. I am Black and saw three Black teenage girls attack this White girl because she was just "White". But it can happen in nations where a skin color run majority government exist. In Africa, if you are White in certain places, you will be blamed for what happened in the 19th century. The same as in America or even Australia.
It's not ust in Russia. Nationalistic ideologies are springing up everywhere. Fascism is on the rise in Europe.

Latest news like beheading of a dark skinned person in Russia is deplorable. They are killing journalists too. These acts are indeed backed by government. These news just confirms Russia is indeed a racist country from the start and doesn't matter what clarification Russians give.
Perhaps Russia is the Nazi state of the 21st century. In the world of globalization these people are taking themselves in the past.
Once I liked Russia a bit and even thought of going to travel but I think I wouldn't go there because they are the same Nazist.
