Ruthanne Inspired Me to Share This "Centering" Piece

I am sorry when you and I have a tough day...there are those each week! My hope and prayer is that there will be fewer of these days and nights as we meditate/pray/center our spirits. Keep saying to yourself: "I come from Peace, I will return to peace...beginning NOW."

Having said that, I had a good day but "not-so-good" evening on Wednesday on October 17th. It was not "bad" because everything is really good and "not-so-good." If I were to miss a bus or a prize, that MAY free me to meet someone more important who comes by the next minute, or apply and participate in something more important. Last night I went to listen to a talk about "Peace, Health and Globalism." When this intellectual visitor from India showed weak reasoning, and after 90 minutes I asked him how did he say "Live only in the present, when we have to think and act FOR the future and save the planet ... because planet Earth can be ignored NOW as it is okay for this generation?"

He said I was wasting time with that kind of thinking. So you see, each one wants us to think like him; anything else is "not-so-good" logic according to others. But I thought of Gandhi and gave him a cash donation when I was leaving. (I might just as easily have argued with him...it would have created more "un-peace" and non-centering...because I can change ONLY ME) I would truly have gained nothing more than assert my EGO. I would be showing off my mental gymnastics. Since that is NOT what I wanted or wish for in life, I stayed on the fringe of challenging him only. When his hackles went up, I had one small follow up question that was neutral and I demonstrated I was letting th unanswered question go. (They tell us EGO keeps us from Peace or GOD-experience because E.G.O means Edging God Out).

In Jesus' Name I pray, let us have wonderful Thursdays and every other day. May the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit make these wonders happen in daily living and giving glory to God and Nature. Amen
