Eugene is located 110 miles south of downtown Portland along the Interstate 5 corridor in Oregon's Willamette Valley region.

The city is home to the University of Oregon and a vibrant outdoor recreation scene that includes running, fishing, hiking, bicycling and boating. Eugene is about an hour east of the Oregon coast and less than an hour west of the mountains and the Willamette National Forest.

Eugene is an excellent place for RV campers to stop and stay, with a handful of lodging opportunities and available activities in the area, and easy access in and out of town along Interstate 5 and Highway 126.

Deerwood RV Park

Located on the south side of Eugene, Deerwood RV Park is just east of the Interstate 5-Highway 58 junction and just two miles west of Howard Buford County Park and the scenic Mount Pisgah. The 10-acre park's RV sites are tree-shaded with full hookups and pull-through sites that can accommodate 65-foot-long rigs. All sites have water, sewer, electrical, wireless Internet, telephone and satellite TV hookups, as well as room for slideouts, extra vehicles and awnings. The park has horseshoe pits and croquet courses, laundry, shower and restroom facilities.

Premier RV Resort Eugene

Premier RV Resort is in north Eugene, on the edge of the town of Coburg just east of Interstate 5. The park has 82 pull-through sites that can accommodate 50-foot-long rigs. All RV sites are paved and offer full hookups, including 50-amp electrical, sewer, water and cable TV. The park has a swimming pool, store, exercise room, laundry, showers, restrooms, a pool table and a pond, and is just three miles north of fishing and boating opportunities on the McKenzie River. Pets are welcome, and Premier RV Resort has an off-leash dog park.

Shamrock Village RV Park

Shamrock Village is Eugene's closest park to the University of Oregon, located about two miles east of campus off Franklin Boulevard near the border between Eugene and Springfield. The park is situated near the banks of the Willamette River, offering close proximity to fishing and boating. Shamrock Village has 115 RV spaces, 26 of which are pull-throughs with full hookups, including 30- or 50-amp electrical outlets, and eight of which are tree-shaded riverfront sites with water and 30-amp electrical hookups only. The park has laundry, restroom and shower facilities, a recreation hall and wireless Internet access. Pets are welcome.

Eugene Kamping World RV Park

Kamping World RV Park is located on the northern edge of Eugene and offers sites with full RV hookups, pull-through access and available 50-amp electrical connections. The park has onsite laundry facilities, showers and restrooms, and a store with groceries and propane gas. Kamping World has satellite TV and modem hookups, a large meeting hall, basketball court, horseshoe pits and children's playgrounds.
