What, you say, do you do if you don't have an RV? Many RV parks offer cabins for rent nightly, weekly and even monthly. A frequent traveler, I have mentioned below a few that I found nice.
Oswego, New York has a great RV park. The Sunset RV Park offers several great cabin options. There are 6 one bed cabins, 8 two bed cabins, and 1 four bed cabins. They are graded standard, deluxe and premium. Prices range from $36.08 to $198.32 depending on the day of the week and whether it is a special date. They also offer great weekly and monthly discounts. All do not include kitchens so you will need to verify this before renting. Two or three do not have bathrooms or televisions. Be certain to check the amenities list before making a reservation if these things are important. Never the less, a great place to stay!
One of the prettiest, and one of my personal favorites, is the Big Cedar RV Park in the Kiamichi Mountains. In Oklahoma's southeast region you are surrounded by rolling hills and great forests. Check into one of the lovely log cabin style cabins and kick back on the front porch. From there you will see for miles. The cabins rent for $65 per night for a single and $75 for a double. There is a $5 charge for each additional person. Sleeping 4-6 people with mini to full kitchens, you will feel like you are at home. Each provides a private bath and WI-FI internet access for those of you that take your work with you. You have full use of all amenities which include a laundry.
The Arrowhead Point Resort in Buena Vista, Colorado is another great choice. They offer log cabins from $65-85 per night, with bath & kitchen, as well as rustic cabins.
Regardless where you stay, you can enjoy yourself fully in one of the many RV park cabins
