Ryan Reynolds & Scarlett Johansson Are the Hottest Couple No More

Ryan Reynolds & Scarlett Johansson will divorce, as reported at TMZ. The couple were married in September of 2008, and as reported at TMZ, were rarely seen together. "After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage. We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated," Reynolds and Johansson released to TMZ.

One of the most flattering things that happened for both Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson, in 2010, is that they were both voted most hot. Ryan Reynolds was voted "People" magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2010 and Scarlett Johansson was voted "GQ" magazine's "Babe of the Year" for 2010.

But now that the two will divorce, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt can take the title of "hottest couple" back. They are a couple who people instantly think of as the most beautiful. But as the couple grows older and lives quietly in Paris, and other locations, with lots of kids in tow, the hot label has gotten a bit cold. In addition, although Pitt's "Inglourious Basterds" was a hit, Jolie continues with her box office flops. She can add "The Tourist", also starring Johnny Depp, to the list.

The Ryan Reynolds & Scarlett Johansson split is reported as amicable. Breaking up isn't hard to do when it comes to celebrities. Indeed, Jolie and Pitt, who are not married, but who have been together since 2005, have beaten the celebrity relationship odds. But don't hold your breath.
