The Ryle High School Holiday Art and Craft Show is one of the largest in the area. With more than 175 booths, just about every non-classroom space in the large high school is occupied by arts and crafts booths ranging from jewelry to textiles, ceramics to gourds, and much more.
The 2009 Ryle High School Holiday Art and Craft Show will be held on Friday evening, November 20th and Saturday, November 21st. The Friday evening presale will be open to only approximately 1300 people who have purchased advanced tickets for $8. On Saturday the Ryle High School Holiday Art and Craft Show is open to the general public for a $3 admission. The hours on Friday night are 7:00 PM-10:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM.
There are some important tips and regulations to consider if you plan on attending the Ryle High School Holiday Art and Craft Show in Union, KY. First of all, expect enormous crowds. This event is extremely well attended. If you really don't like battling the crowds, you may wish to contact the Ryle High School PTSA (859-384-5300) to purchase one of the Friday evening pre-show tickets to beat the crowds. Also keep in mind that strollers are not permitted in the Ryle High School Holiday Art and Craft Show. There is an area where you can check your stroller for a fee, but you may find it easier to just leave your little one with a sitter for a few hours rather than attempting to tote him/her around in the crowd. Children ages 10 and under to get into the show for free.
