S the New Predators Movie Worth Watching or is it Just a Waste of Time?

The movie Predators is a stand alone film and what I mean by this is that it's not a remake, reboot that adds to it's other previous past or present films. This movie is more along the lines of the continuation of the very first Predator film. Roger Rodriguez is the producer of the film while his counterpart's director Nimrod Antal who's directed such films as Armoured and Kontroll. Predators certainly outperformed it's self in so many ways especially in the way Nimrod does his directing. There are many scenes in the film that'll raise your eyebrows for sure considering many of the bloody and violent moments in the film than any other installment I've ever seen before. There's also a scene in the movie where the evil Predator heinously dismembers another individual which if I were to compare to something it would be along the lines of Mortal Kombat's "finish him" scenario.

The overall storyline is very basic and easy to understand considering there's only one primary plot which is to outsmart and outwit the whole Predator species. The characters soon learn that they're part of a game set up by the Predators and that there the ones being pursued or hunted. They're alien-like creatures that are far to advanced in all aspects such as weaponry, armory, heat sensing detectors and especially their electromagnetic pulses that there willing to use at any time in order to cause havoc upon any human being they come across or hunt down. The humans find themselves at an unfair advantage considering that the Predators have an advantage with their ability to cloak themselves camouflagey with their surroundings.

Adrien Brody the main character of this action flick play's the leader of the pact of soldiers that have landed on the same island with him. He immediately states that he doesn't care to become friends or have any emotional bonds with anyone of the humans, he's determined to leave the alien like planet well and alive. This quickly annoys Isabelle, a female combatant from the Middle East country Israel and has a fair share of secrets in store, as well as the Chechnyan fighter Nicolai and than there's the oddest one of the bunch Dr. Edwin (played by Topher Grace). They've all been abducted to a planet that resembles that of Earth but in the sense that they must fight for their life in order to live but it doesn't help when there ambushed by vicious man-killing alien predators in a game of survival of the fittest. It makes for great entertainment and a fun experience to watch, so I would certainly recommend this movie for everyone to watch but not for those that don't take violence or gore very well because there's plenty of that in this film.
