Sad

I have been very sad today,
I can't chase these blues away.
I don't even know why,
I don't want to know, I just sigh.
What happened, yesterday was so good!?
Should anything change, if I could?
Is it the tides in the ocean,
That sets my moods in motion?
Could it be that I'm tired of being me?
I'm wishing again, that He would set me free!
I know that this day will pass
And this darkness won't last.
But right now not much else could matter,
Today, I'm as sick as the mad hatter!
I've looked and looked and asked myself why,
Why today is one of those days, I can't look myself in the eye.
But I guess that the nature of being me!
Ah, come on God, please, just set me free!
