Don't lose any sleep over Saddam's execution. Hundreds of thousands of people died as a result of his actions:

*1980-1988: Iran-Iraq war left 150,000 to 350,000 Iraqis and 450,000 to 750,000 Iranians dead.

*1983-1988: Documented chemical attacks by Iraqi regime caused approximately 300,000 Iraqi and Iranian deaths.

*1988 : Chemical attacks on Kurdish village of Halabja caused the deaths of approximately 5,000 deaths.

*1987-1988: Iraq's regime used chemicals in attacks against approximately 40 Kurdish villages.

*1990-1991: The invasion of Kuwait which resulted in the deaths of 1,000 Kuwaitis/

*1991 : Supression by any means of Kurdish and Shi'a uprising in Northern and Southern Iraq. The result
causing the deaths of at least 35,000 to 60,000 thousand people. A minimum of 2000 Kurdish
villages were destroyed during this onslaught.

* Saddam had approximately 40 of his own direct relatives murdered

* FBI: Iraqui Government was involved in a plot to assinate former Presiden George Bush.

Normally, I would be against punishment by death however this character reeks of Hitler and I personally am not going to lose any sleep about his demise.
