Operation
The Saeco 4038 can make anywhere between one and eight ounces of espresso at a time. The user-friendly control panel offers push-button controls for ease of operation. The espresso machine also offers an adjustable doser so you can choose how much ground coffee to put into each cup. This can be set between six and nine grams.
The Saeco 4038 espresso machine also offers a range of indicator lights. They tell you when the unit is powered on, heated up to the ideal brewing temperature, or ready to produce steam. There is also an alarm light.
Grinder
The Saeco 4038 espresso machine also has an integrated conical burr grinder. The machine can hold up to 12 ounces of beans at a time. You can also adjust the texture of your ground coffee easily.
Water
The Saeco 4038 espresso maker is fitted with a 57-ounce water tank. You can remove it completely from the machine to make for easier filling. The height of the dispensing spout can also be adjusted to make room for cups of different sizes.
Wand
Another nice feature offered by the Saeco 4038 is the removable Pannarello wand. This is useful for making froth for beverages like lattes or cappuccinos. You can also use the wand to dispense hot water to make tea or hot chocolate.
Design
The Saeco 4038 is easy to maintain thanks to its removable brew group and plastic drip tray. The machine's dreg drawer can hold up to 15 pucks and it is equipped with a stainless steel boiler. The unit is backed by a one year limited warranty.
