Safe Places to Go Trick or Treating in Massachusetts

If you and children love the Halloween celebration then you might already be wondering where good places are to spend it. If you live in the Massachusetts area and do not know where to safely spend Halloween with your kids then you are in luck. Below I have included some safe places to take the children in Massachusetts for Halloween.

Simon Malls- Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers , Square One Mall in Peabody, and Square One Mall in Saugus both hold FREE in -mall trick or treating in which children can go to select stores and trick or treat. All though it can get crowded, it is a safe atmosphere for the children. Children are everywhere on this day and their costumes are a sight to see. The place is well lighted and the stores are reputable. Many of the Simon malls participate in this trick or treat event, check on the Simon Malls website to find a mall closest to you.

The event is usually held on October 30th and October 31st from 4-7. Take note that the tines do tend to change each year all though the time frame is usually around 4pm-8pm. So if you are interested in attending this trick or treat event you should call in to the malls ahead of time for the right date and times. Each mall has its own dates.

Halloween Town- Halloween Town is known as Boston's biggest and best party for all ages. This event takes place on two day Saturday October 24th and Sunday October 25th from 10a,-6pm. This event does costs money, children 3 and under can get in free, for kids and seniors the price is $14 online and $16 at the door, for adults the cost is $17 online and $18 at the door. At Halloween Town children can dress in costume and trick or treat. There is music, jugglers, dancers, games to play, ghosts, book and cartoon characters to meet. The price can get expensive with multiple children but there are coupons for free children's events at D'Angelo's, Papa Gino's, and iParty.

This event is held at Seaport World Trade Center, Boston.

Franklin Park Zoo& Stone Zoo- During Halloween Franklin Park Zoo and Stone Zoo hold their annual Halloween celebrations. The events go under many names such as; "Boo at the Zoo" "Zoo Howl", and "Zoolights." It is best to check on the zoo New England's websites for the exact dates and times.

Salem Haunted Happenings- Salem, MA will be celebrating its 28th annual Salem Haunted Happenings. The Salem Haunted Happenings is a list of events held by the town of Salem for families to participate in starting October 1st and ending November 1st.. There are many events such as trick or treating, Halloween arts and crafts, there is am interactive Harry Potter event for ages 6-11, but this event does require registration and a $25 fee. There is much happening in Salem, what a fun place to be! Some of these events will require money. Below a link to the site will be included.
