Watching the sun eliminate the snow
but it can't remove the cold air
Everytime I hear the wind blow
There's a chill that goes by my hair
Hidden behind the wood and rust
underneath the trees and fence
rising above the dirt and dust
It was neither fearful nor tense
It was my old pal Duke in the yard
looking for something in this boring day
it seems he didn't have to look to hard
when he was something on his way
It was small to the naked eyes
hanging out his mouth with ease
as colorful the spring skies
as comforting a spring breeze
He came as slow as the sunrise
It's like he come from the cliffs of Dovers
What he show came to my surprise
He picked up two 4 leaf clovers
