A Haiku for St. Patrick's Day

Saint Patrick's Shamrock
Symbol of the Trinity:
Father, Son, Spirit

Background:

The three-leaf shamrock is one of the best-known symbols of Ireland and St. Patrick's Day, but there is a reason it is so closely associated with Saint Patrick. It is more than a reminder of Ireland's green shores.

Saint Patrick, missionary to Ireland and a leader in the Celtic Church, used the shamrock as a spiritual teaching symbol for the Holy Trinity--three parts making one whole: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
