Saints Parade Live and Crowning Glories

Stacey Doyle
Saints Parade live is a celebration of the New Orleans Saints win in SuperBowl 2010. Both CNN and NOLA.com featured streaming video of the Saints parade live. Watching the Saints parade live makes me think of the upcoming Easter parade, our Easter bonnets...and New Orleans' own Mariana Titus' book Sunday Mornings, Crowning Glories.

The Saints Parade live reminded me of my dear New Orleans friend and the special book she sent to me. Sunday Mornings, Crowning Glories by Mariana Titus is a heartwarming collection of stories and photos of the colorful churches and people in her hometown of Franklin, Louisiana.

I'm sure the spirited people in Sunday, Mornings, Crowning Glories watched the Saints Parade Live. After all, the New Orleans football team was named for the Louis Armstrong song, "When The Saints Go Marching In."

In Sunday Mornings, Crowning Glories, you feel the passion of people with wisdom beyond conventional education. Rare gifts of heart and soul give them the deepest faith in the most dire circumstances. The fabulous photos showcase the pride and respect of women wearing beautiful dresses and glorious hats to church.

A world often closed to outsiders welcomed Mariana Titus with her outgoing personality and magical camera. She captured moments that bring us to another place full of warmth, prayer, song and spirit. If you love watching the Saints Parade live, you'll enjoy an insider's view of New Orleans in Sunday Mornings, Crowning Glories.
