I got this in nude buff, which is a great match for my NC25 skin. When I first tried it, I was very pleased because it is so hard to get a good color match because most of the drugstore foundations have more of a pink base and turn orange in the middle of the day, and this did not have any of that. The color match is possibly one of the best out of all the foundations that I have tried.
I like the packaging a lot. It comes in a pump and a glass bottle, and one pump is enough for the whole face. I first applied this with my fingers and surprisingly, it did not leave any streaks or anything unnatural. I applied another time on the places that I thought needed more coverage and there was no caking and did not look heavy, but I also felt that it did not help much.
I was pretty disappointed with the coverage. I guess I expected too much since the last liquid foundation that I used was Prescriptives flawless skin, which has a very full coverage and covered most of my flaws and I did not have to even reach for my concealer. The Your Skin Makeup had a good medium coverage and it covers my dark circles pretty well but does not cover my acne scars completely, so I have to use a concealer. But, this kind of coverage would be good enough for most people.
The finish is definitely very natural. It almost looks like I am not wearing any makeup. It does not control oil particularly well, but did not turn my skin oily. One of the concerns that I had with this is that it accentuates my dry spots and creates a ring around my pimples, and made my skin look worse. But, on the spots that I do not have any problems, the finish was perfect. And, I took a nap with this accidentally and it did not seem to rub off so much and I still had pretty fresh look.
Even with all the great things about this foundation, I have to get back to my search for the perfect foundation. The main reason is that this broke me out. It was not that bad, but I used this for a few weeks and never stopped breaking out from this.
As the name indicates, this definitely creates a natural look. I probably would have bought this over and over again as a everyday natural look makeup if this did not break me out. I think this is a very good foundation for a great price- $12.99 for 1 fl oz.
