Saltwater Private Boat Ramps in Alabama

The State of Alabama has both public and private boat ramps or launches available for boaters and anglers who wish to enjoy the many activities that the Gulf of Mexico and Mobile Bay have to offer. While most public boat ramps or launches are free to use, most private boat dock charge a fee. This fee is usually $3 to $5, just a little money to help with the cost of the upkeep of the boat ramp. Many of the private boat ramps are listed below.

West Fowl River boat ramp is located in south Alabama on Highway 188/Bellingrath Road outside off Alabama Point, Alabama. Access to Mobile Bay is accomplished by traveling east on the Fowl River.

Fowl River Marina is located on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama. Here boaters and anglers will find access to the Fowl River and on to Mobile Bay. The boat ramp at this location is cement and there is a $5 fee to use it.

Memories Fishing Camp is located at 4901 Fowl River Road, Theodore, Alabama. Boaters and anglers will find a sand boat ramp and will have access to the Mobile Bay by traveling down the Fowl River. There is a $3 fee to use this boat ramp.

Beach Comber is located at 6100 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile Alabama. This location offers a cement boat ramp on the Dog River that boaters and anglers can use to get to Mobile Bay. There is a $5 fee to use this boat ramp.

Hoppe's Fish Camp is located at 4724 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile Alabama and is on the Dog River in the Hhollinger's Island area. This boat ramp is cement and has a wooden dock with a $5 fee.

Pirate's Cove is located at 6664 County Road 95, Elberta, Alabama and has a boat launch or ramp for anglers and boaters to use.

Captain's Galley and Marina is located at 18546 Highway 10, Bon Secour, Alabama.

Cedar Point Fishing Pier is located at 18250 Dauphin Island Parkway, Coden, Alabama on Mobile Bay at the north end of the Dauphin Island Bridge. The boat ramp here is sand and shell.

Jemison's Bait Shop is located at 116871 Dauphin Island Parkway, Coden, Alabama at Heron Bay Cutoff on Mobile Bay. This location has an oyster shell landing.

Gulf Shores Yacht and Marina, which was formally Fort Morgan Marina, is locate at 1577 Highway 180, Gulf Shores, Alabama.
