The Samsung Galaxy S II will be coming with a display that is going to be matching the HTC Desire HD in terms of screen size because it will be featuring a display that will be measuring 4.3 inches in size. This is a massive improvement from the previous 4 inches that was used in the Samsung Galaxy S. Not only is it better in terms of the size, but it is also better when it comes to the technology that is used within the display as well. While the Super AMOLED display technology was used in the Samsung Galaxy S, this new phone will be using the Super AMOLED Plus display technology. Even though the exact specifications of this display technology have not been revealed by Samsung, the display looks much better than the previous phone, which itself took a lot of praises.
Given that the previous screen itself was a capacitive display, it would be daft to think that this would be having a resistive screen. The technology that is employed in this regard is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S, but the fact that the phone will be using the 1 GHz dual core processor makes the difference. Due to the usage of this processor, the running of the operating system is much smoother than before. Hence, this will be extremely similar to the Apple iPhone in terms of the stability of the operating system and the user interface. The Android operating system that is used in the Samsung Galaxy S II will be the 2.3 version, which is also known as the Gingerbread operating system. This operating system will only be justifying the features of the Samsung Galaxy S II, which are in aplenty.
The phone also gets an upgrade in the camera department as well because it will now be featuring the eight megapixel unit instead of the five megapixel unit that was used previously. It will also be having a number of options that have been updated as well. This includes the likes of the 1080 p video recording option on the phone apart from many others. The Samsung Galaxy S II has recently been unveiled by Samsung and the prices of this amazing new phone in the United Kingdom have also been revealed. It will cost around £ 600 in the UK. Besides that you may also wish to take a look at Samsung Galaxy S deals for other available deals.
