Samsung GO Mint Blue 10.1-Inch Netbook Review, Model: N310-13GMB
I Review the Ultra-portable Samsung GO Mint Blue Netbook for Consumers
Product Rating:
Processor Speed: 4/5 Stars
Portability: 4.5/5 Stars
Screen Quality: 4.5/5 Stars
Overall Rating: 4.5/5 Stars
Processor and Hard Drive:
This extremely portable Samsung GO Blue Network has been outfitted with an extremely well-designed processor. Simply because this laptop is smaller than the average, doesn't mean that the processing power will be slimed down. You will be able to enjoy the ultra powerful Intel Atom N270 processor. This unique processing chip has been developed for computers that are ultra portable.
The hard drive for this Samsung GO Netbook features a total storage capacity of 160GB. While this isn't the largest hard drive on the market, for the size and intended purpose of this netbook, a 160GB hard drive is ideal. One aspect of the hard drive that I was slightly disappointed with was the read/write speed of 5400RPM. While this is definitely not sluggish, it would have been better to see a hard drive with a speed of at least 7200RPM.
Noteworthy Features:
The screen size of this Samsung GO Blue Netbook measures 10.1-inches. This is the ideal size for those who need a truly portable computer, however with the screen resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, every image that is displayed on the screen with be crystal clear and vibrant with details.
Another feature that I found useful is the 1.3 Megapixel web cam that is placed within the top of the monitor. This built-in web cam is ideal for video conferencing as well as keeping in touch with your friends and family when you are on the road.
You will be able to connect to the Internet through the 802.11b/g wireless interface as well as through the wired 10/100Base Ethernet connection. You will also be able to integrate all of your Bluetooth devices to this computer through the Bluetooth 2.1interface.
You can easily upload your digital files through the three USB 2.0 ports, however, it is the 3-in-1 memory card slot, which will allow you to instantly upload all of your digital photographs and movies.
