Welcome to the Samsung M300.
This phone was release a little over a year ago, as a more basic version of the Samsung M510 (which has more features, however a bigger cost). The Samsung M300 is a very stylish looking phone for the money you invest. It is sleek and compact, like many flip phones, however the design is simple yet innovative. There are two colors you can choose from (silver or red) depending on your taste. Lightweight and compact this phone is easy to store, especially for people who put their phones in their pockets.
On the front of the Samsung M300, you can see a mid-size screen showcasing the time and date, and also any information of incoming calls. About the screen, in the top center of the phone is the camera lens. I like phones that have the lens in the middle of the phone, making it a lot easier to point and shoot quickly since it is a little easier to line up. The actual camera performance, however, isn't as great as some other camera phones. Due to the basic version of the phone, the pictures can be quite pixilated. There is also not very many features of the actual camera to play around with, nor is there a flash.
On the inside you can see a very simple keypad design on the Samsung M300. Two "enter" keys are located on the top right and left of the keypad, a long with a circular navigation pad, which is standard on most phones, but very easy to use. Also, there is a small "back" button under the navigation pad, making it easy to get back to your front screen. Navigation through the phone to "Contacts" and other settings on the Samsung M300 is pretty easy to get through and pretty basic to the setup of most other phones.
Contacts can hold information for email addresses, web sites, notes, and nicknames. You can also add up to 5 numbers and a picture that will show up on the insides and outside screen when your contact calls. Like most phones, you can assign one of the ring tones to specific contacts for more customization.
This phone IS equipped with speakerphone for those times when you need both of your hands free and also voice commands for dialing. It includes a pretty basic scheduling program and task list, along with a notes section. Like most phones, the Samsung M300 also has a pretty simple alarm clock, as well as a countdown timer and calculator.
The Samsung M300 also has Bluetooth, however, I was not fortunate enough to try this with the physical version I have.
I hope this version of the Samsung M300 for Sprint review has helped you dive a little deeper into the phone. Again, if you are looking for basics and a stylish phone, the Samsung M300 might be the answer for you. If you are looking for more features (a can afford it) you might want to check out some others.
