The Samsung Monte Bar C3200 is a very basic device and it is intended to be simple. Samsung ensures consumers the affordability and basic features that are intended for this simple cell phone.
Monte Bar C3200 is given simple functions, only those which are needed the most, but with a certain appeal that the market needs. For example, average consumer rarely deals with such networks as 3G or Wi-Fi, so Samsung took out those features in Monte Bar and left with only 2G in GPRS/EDGE. However, it has got Bluetooth 2.1 and microUSB 2.0 for data transfers.
The Samsung Monte Bar C3200 measurements are 111.8 x 46.9 x 13.3 mm and it weighs about 77.3g and is one of the lightest phones in the market. Samsung chose to reduce display size in order to compensate the keypad. Bar C3200 has a larger and convenient keyboard and a smaller 2-inch TFT LCD display with 256k colors.
The Samsung Monte Bar has a 2 megapixel camera which is nothing considering the current year 2010. This camera can film at a low 15 fps frame rate. It has got a simple multimedia functions like FM stereo radio with recording, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 3.5 millimeter sound jack. Surprisingly enough, it can playback popular video and audio files.
The Samsung Monte Bar, like similar budget phones, has a low integral memory capacity (40 megabytes), but the ability to increase the capacity to 8 GB, using microSD, makes this phone more appealing. With minimum features, the Monte Bar is able to work for 8.3 hours of talk time and 500h in standby mode using its 960 mAh li-ion battery.
All in all, The Samsung Monte Bar C3200 cell phone will not deliver you high-end features and you will not be able to use social networks and similar stuff. Although its price is not yet revealed, but if Samsung makes it below the price of similar budget phones, the Monte Bar will definitely be a winner in this category.Source: here.
