The decline in price of flash memory cards certainly bids well for MP3 players like the S3 slim. The only downside to owning the Samsung S3 Slim is that it has a small screen and lacks integration with Bluetooth technology, something that the Samsung T10 has. The Samsung S3 is extremely similar in design to the Samsung T3, its previous model. The Samsung S3 has rounded edges along with a much more sturdy feel. The clean metallic body also creates an extremely sleek and stylish look for the Samsung S3 Slim.
The Samsung S3 Slim is available in five different colors including black, green, red, blue, and white. This Samsung MP3 player also has glowing controls that are touch sensitive which are located below the exterior. The cool part about these controls is that they only light up when they are touched by your finger. The only setback that this creates for the Samsung S3 Slim is that it adds an extra navigation step. At the bottom of this Samsung MP3 player you will find a 3.5mm headphone jack and the main syncing port.
Its name lends insight to the fact that the Samsung S3 Slim is extremely thin and compact. The Samsung S3 Slim measures 3.7 inches by 1.7 inches by 0.3 inches which is only a little bit larger than the 4GB iPod touch. Unfortunately, the S3's display screen is 0.2 inches smaller than the screens of the iPod Nano and Samsung T10 which measures 1.8 inches diagonally. Despite the fact that the screen is small, Samsung still managed to do an excellent job with the user interface.
On the Samsung Slim S3, there are separate menus for videos, music, and photos. This provides for easy navigation while selecting different songs and videos. Once within the music menu you can select songs by artist, song, or by play list. Samsung offers users an option of three different menu interfaces. One of these menu interfaces offers the option to put a photo as your phones background. You can even set the playback screen to display song info, album artist, or three different kinds of animated visualizations.
