How Does the Samsung WEP210 Bluetooth Headset Compare to Other Headsets?

Samsung just released its WEP210 Bluetooth headset, and it is already gathering a lot of attention all around the internet for being a superior, cost-friendly alternative to most other Bluetooth headsets. Headsets can get to be extremely expensive, but the Samsung WEP210 Bluetooth headset is available at many websites for $19.99 or less.

Like most other Bluetooth headsets, the WEP210 Bluetooth headset is advertised as a light "companion" to mobile telephones. This headset appears similar to many other Bluetooth headsets, sporting an earpiece, volume adjustment buttons, an indicator light, a function button, and a place for a microphone. The headset is Bluetooth 2.0 enabled-call quality is advertised as being high, while using a minimal amount of power. On a full charge, the headset lasts up to five and a half hours in use, and 70 hours on standby mode.

For many people who are looking to add a simple, minimal Bluetooth headset, this is the one. It is an extremely good value, and you get the features you need in a basic headset.

If you are looking for other great options for Bluetooth headsets, there are certainly plenty of other options available to you.

The Plantronics Voyager 510 is one of the best options for a Bluetooth headset on the market at the current time. Available for $39.99 at Amazon.com, the headset costs a bit more, but there are more features on this specific headset. The headset itself is extremely sleek-featuring an over the ear design, with enough flexibility in the headset to be able to wear it on the ear of your choice. You can talk up to six hours on this headset (a half hour more than the WEP210), and the headset can stay in standby mode for up to 100 hours.

It is a comfortable device with clear sound quality, both listening and talking. It is Bluetooth version 1.2, so it is not the latest version of Bluetooth. All in all, the Plantronics Voyager is a solid alternative to those who want a slightly-improved unit over the Samsung WEP210 Bluetooth Headset.

Some other Bluetooth headsets to check out include the Samsung WEP200 Bluetooth Headset and the Motorola S805 Bluetooth Headset.
