According to the news reports released so far, it seems that the device will keep its specifications unchanged. This means that i8510M will also feature WiFi, built-in GPS receiver and accelerometer, meant to provide a range of entertainment opportunities, along with a series of pre-installed games. Its 1200mAh battery should also offer extended usage, while the device is still only 17.2mm thick.
Its most impressive feature remains the 8-megapixel, autofocus camera, which comes with great specs, such as video recording at 120 frames per second when set at QVGA resolution and up to 30 frames per second at VGA quality. Also, it is a known fact that this Symbian S60-powered device includes a full editing suite for the video files you have recorded.
Moreover, the i8510M will also offer a standard 3.5mm audio port, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP support for stereo headsets, and stereo speakers. The device features a 16GB internal storage space to which a microSD card slot is added. Many of you should already be familiar with this handset, so the fact that it comes with a lot of other features should not be such a surprise.
At this time, AT&T and Samsung haven't made any official statements regarding the Symbian S60-powered i8510M and its availability, but the two companies are expected to showcase the device at CES 2009, which starts in January next year, less than two weeks from now.
