If you are in Seattle, Washington and are craving Japanese style ramen, then you must visit Samurai Noodle located in the International District. The authenticity of the ramen at the Samurai Noodle is about as close as you're going to get to Japanese style ramen. The restaurant is located within the side of a Japanese grocery store called Uwajimaya. The interior is very quaint and only has a maximum of 8 tables. This means that the cramped quarters will require you to wait for your ramen, unless you want to eat outside. A good tip is to order your ramen earlier and take the food to a different location. However, don't wait too long or your noodles will become soggy.

There are many choices to consider when ordering your ramen bowl, and the first choice is the type of soup broth that you want. You can choose a very rich pork broth, soy sauce broth, or a mixture of both broths. The pork broth is very rich and deep in flavor. Even though the broth tastes amazing, it will make you feel full considerably fast. The noodles are cooked on demand and remember to tell the cook to make sure that the noodles are "al-dente". The last choice that you will have to consider is the extra toppings that you want in your soup. Most of the soups come with chashu (slow-cooked pork), bamboo shoots and green onions. However, you can also order an extra portion of chashu, boiled eggs, ginger, extra bamboo and extra green onions.

In order to get the best Samurai Noodle experience, you should definitely order the Samurai Armour Bowl. The Armour Bowl comes with extra everything and will ensure that you do not leave the restaurant hungry. Also, if you are still hungry after finishing your ramen, you can ask for an additional portion of noodles (just make sure to save some broth!).

A regular bowl of ramen will cost you around $7 and the Samurai Armor bowl will cost around $10. If you are not in the mood for ramen, then you can try the chashu rice bowl, which is a mixture of chashu and vegetables. The Samurai Noodle also serves sake and Japanese beer.

Make sure to visit Samurai Noodle for the best ramen in Seattle, Washington.
