from Jazz to Latin Soul. Pack up dinner and bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.

4. Hike at the Government Canyon State Natural Area, for nature lovers only! Hikes on Saturday mornings last an

5. Create at The Southwest School of Art & Craft, work alongside your little ones to create ceramic, painting,

6. Cruise the San Antonio River on the Yanaguana Cruise, a peaceful way to travel the river.

10. Get soaked at Splashtown, a not-too-big, not-too-small waterpark. Just right to cool off and spend the day in
the water. The priciest suggestion but worth it for smaller crowds, shorter lines, and an easier time with
keeping an eye on the kiddoes.

    Thanks for the great article-this is quite informative and on Sept. 09, I left to San Antonio for out of state work-and thank God was able to stay 6 months in San Antonio,Tx. with my job. Everything you wrote on is so true. Beautiful is the city,I found excellent enjoyment and safety
    for the children also. I fell in love with the Riverwalk,the malls,and the best were the people,great kindness among the Texans . I live in Florida,but I now desire to make my home in San Antonio.Hopefully this new year I will be able to move to this generous city of beauty!
