As the days got colder in San Diego so did the competition. Teams fell of the map, which made for a very interesting finals week. Out of our original 12 teams signed up for this league 8 teams made an appearance and conveniently all them made it to the finals. Sorta Worried faced off against Our Balls Your Beer in the first round of the finals accompanied by Biggy Smalls against our leagues fearless leaders My Dick Your Face in their first appearance in the finals. Our Balls Your Beer and Biggy Smalls advanced to the quarterfinals to play Boats and Hoes and Slim Thug. Once again Biggy Smalls and Our Balls Your Beer come out victorious and advance to the semifinals where they were matched up against #1 seed Grady and Brian and #2 seed Team Brosephs.
Unfortunately, the teams could not come out on top again, but after some close games #1 seed and #2 seed move on to the finals. After two close games and jobs well done by both teams Grady and Brian came out on top winning the first two games in a best two of three set. This was after the second game was well played by both teams, which resulted in overtime. Congratulations to our second place team Team Brosephs for a job well done especially after going into hibernation for the past few leagues. Please stay tuned to www.beerpongleagues.com to find out more information on the new league that will be starting in mid-January and for more info on the latest tournaments that are going on around town. Everyone have Happy Holidays and a safe and Happy New Year from our family to yours.
