San Francisco, known as the city by the bay, has many wonderful things to see & do. For the adventurous, two great ways to feel & see the city is a bike ride or a cruise around the bay.

Golden Gate Cruise . The Red and White Fleet is legendary. It is a family owned business since 1892. The one hour tour leaves Pier 43 ½ up to 14 times daily. Each tour includes a sailing along the Embarcadero waterfront, under the incredible Golden Gate Bridge, and around the notorious Alcatraz Island. On this great adventure ride around Bay, you learn the history of the sights and view the San Francisco shoreline from the water. The audio narrative is available in 12 languages for the benefit of all the foreign visitors to the City by the Bay. You can stay inside and view though the large windows or go to the top floor and enjoy the open air viewing.

The SF Explorer Cruise is 90 minutes. On this ship you will cruise under the landmark San Francisco Bay Bridge, view AT&T Park, the newest California baseball park and go around Treasure Island, the sight of the 1939 San Francisco Exposition. Passengers also get a up lose view of Alcatraz Island, one of the most infamous prisons in California history.

Beginning on April 1st to May 25th and Sept 7th to Oct 24th at 6:00 PM Thurs to Saturday changing to 7:00PM from May 26th to Sept 6th, the 2 hour California Sunset Cruise is one of the most popular offerings. The evening cruise sails under the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge, along the towns of Tiburon & Sausalito and around Angel Island. Delightful appetizers and live music make witnessing the Sunset over the Bay with the lights of San Francisco illuminating the cityscape an evening to remember.

Blazing Saddles offers a more adventurous way to see the San Francisco sights. Blazing Saddles has a wide variety of bicycles to rent by the hour or by the day. You can rent a bike with one, two or even three seats. Children's seat attachments are also available. For those who prefer not to pedal, electric bicycles are available. Guided tours are an option. There are 34 places to visit along the various biking routes. Routes range from busy Union Square to the Fisherman's wharf, a three mile 30 minute tour to a 3 hour 18 mile trek from Sausalito to the peaks of Mr. Tamalpais where you will pass Muir Woods National Monument.
