Hotel Whitcomb
Hotel Whitcomb started out as planned in 1910 to become a hotel, but once it was finished, it became the temporary city hall while the original was being re-built after the 1906 earthquake. The hotel was used as the city hall from 1912 to 1915, and officially became the Hotel Whitcomb in 1916.
Hotel Whitcomb is located across the street from local attractions like the Orpheum Theater and the Asian Art Museum and is just minutes away from the Golden Gate Park Golf Course. Hotel Whitcomb offers guests a boutique hotel experience and offers amenities such as free high-speed Internet service, in-room movies and room service menu selections from the hotel's restaurant.
