Spring is here again and another winter has gone. I'm so happy to see the flowers bloom and leaves grow back on trees. Our front lawn is green again and we've finally turned off our heater at the house (at last, save some electricity bill).

A few weeks ago, we were so excited to experience our first picnic this year. Odie, Conrad and I went up a hill, ate our finger foods, played with an rc motorcycle, flew a couple of kites and most importantly, enjoyed the beautiful view of the SFO bay. There were a few wind surfers and some sailing their afternoon away. It was a very nice day and it was a sure start of a fun and full of adventure season.

The beauty of California especially San Francisco is the countless things to do. Here's to name a few: there's the outdoor sports, the beach, historical tours, ghost haunting tours, sailing, wind surfing, surfing, cruises to Alcatraz or other popular destinations, flying kites, sky diving, hiking, biking, camping, walkathons, circus shows, fun parks like Great America, Six Flags Marine World, art and wine festivals - drink 'till you drop, bars and clubs, or simple walks in the city. The people alone in the city are entertainment in itself. They come in all shapes and sizes, from the insane to the "not so sane" either, from the weirdos to the suffocated career animal. And not to forget Castro Street, were all that is not straight and drop dead gorgeous is a woman's hopeless pursuit...But hey, there's some for the men too, what kind of a city it is without the women who entertains with a little or no clothes at all, ha ha ha...

But wait! if you prefer eating, fine dining or a quickie satisfy your hunger is not a question. Whether you want breakfast, lunch, brunch, merrienda or dinner, the city has a lot to offer. It's an international food serving city, you name it - the city have it. If you want some lumpia, Chinese and Filipino restaurants serve that. How about some Italian spaghetti, or some Thai coconut milk soup, or a Vietnamese meat combination rice plate, or some Japanese california roll, or some real American burgers, or some macaroni and cheese - French style, or yet some Hawaiian drinks to freshen you up or even some Indian spicy food and a belly dancer to go with it. That sounds good to me, hmm...

You'll get tired before you even figure out what to do next in SFO. Here's a cheers to spring!
