LK
The Macworld Conference and Expo at the Moscone Center in San Francisco is a five-day event filled with information, advice, instructions and training, which will be fun, interesting and fascinating. It will also be overwhelming. A survival guide is needed with great tips to get the most out of the Macworld Conference and Expo and your attendance fee.

Make a schedule.

The most important thing to do before you attend the Macworld Conference and Expo is to make a plan of whom of over the 500 exhibitors to visit and make a schedule of the time you will be at the show, plan on how much time you want to spend for each exhibitor, lunch and speakers, keep to the schedule as much as possible.

Decide on what you are most interested in.

The Macworld Conference and Expo is divided into 8 interest group Mac User, Graphic Design, Digital Photography, Digital Video, Digital Music, IT, Education and New User. Each group has presentations, conference, tutorials and MacLabs and will go in depth on each subject. Pick out two to three groups at the most four that you will attend and stick to those, trying to attend to many groups will make you exhausted.

What to wear.

It is recommended to wear comfortable clothes and especially shoes for the Macworld Conference and Expo. The show is huge and has two halls filled with exhibitors, prepare to be on your feet a lot.

What to eat.

When you go to eat at the Macworld Conference and Expo, you should have energy in mind. Eat light, nutritious and get some carbohydrates to keep your energy up. Do not eat junk food and don't over eat, it will make you tired and sleepy. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the Moscone Center.

Stay Hydrated.

Drink water and lots of it maybe even some Gatorade that will keep you energized.

What to bring.

You should bring pencil, paper and laptop for notes, but be aware if you are bringing your laptop you have to carry it around the whole day. Do bring gum, mints and maybe even small snacks depending on how much you want to carry around. Also remember your business cards, have some printed with your picture on it, no one remembers just a card with a name between a million other cards with just names.

Attend parties.

Do attend as many parties as you can, but some of them are only invites and some you need a ticket to get in. Do not crash parties you are not invited to and make a fool of yourself.
