Sandra Bullock Baby

Sandra Bullock, 45, is trending heavily today with news of a baby adoption. I know that when I first heard about it, I thought it was a hoax but it's not. She is gracing the front of People Magazine with her beautiful adopted baby boy.

Allegedly Sandra is filing for divorce very shortly and is adopting the baby as a single Mom. Sandra and Jesse James were adopting the baby together. They started the adoption process four years ago and were looking for a baby to raise together but due to the recent heartbreaking and cheating by Jesse James, Sandra is planning on raising the baby alone. She's had the baby since January. Everyone in the family had been keeping it a secret because they were going to announce it after the Oscars. The news got sidetracked thanks to Jesse James and his stupidity.

The baby in question is a 3 ½ month old that was born in New Orleans. Sandra has named him Louis Bardo Bullock (named after singer Louis Armstrong. Sandra heard the song "What a Wonderful World" by the singer in her head when she saw him and decided on the name Louis after that). He has beautiful dark skin, a full head of hair and chubby cheeks. It will be neat to watch him grow up with Sandra Bullock as his mother.

What makes this all the more surprising is that no one saw this coming. Sandra has kept the secret heavily guarded. I think that it's the perfect time to announce her baby to the world and what a wonderful way to do it, on the cover of People magazine, holding her baby up in the air as she gazes at him with a proud motherly smile on her face.

Jesse James will not be a part of the child's life (and good riddance! He doesn't seem to be a good role model) but Sandra plans to be a part of Jesse James three children's (all by different mothers) life, which I think is very admirable of her. It would be hard to just walk away when you've grown to love them.

There is no doubt about it. That baby will be dearly loved and spoiled by Sandra Bullock. I am very happy for her and I hope that taking care of her new child will help dim the pain of what she is going through with Jesse James.

Congrats Sandra! We're all rooting for you.
