Sandra Bullock Battles Porn Star for Custody

Girl Next Door Vs Blonde Porn Star

Divorce and custody issues are hardly news in the Hollywood set, but this latest episode has a bit of a twist. Sandra Bullock's wholesome good looks and girl next door charm are being pitted against a porn star in what promises to be a very interesting custody battle.

According to London's Sunday Times, Bullock's husband, Jesse James, was previously married to Janine Lindemulder, the blond, tattooed star of over 100 porn films. James has had full custody of five year old Sunny since her mother was ordered imprisoned for six months on charges of tax evasion. Lindemulder has sought visitation rights since her recent release, visitations that the child's father believes are not in her best interest, and Bullock supports her husband's stance.

How will the courts decide who is the better parent? Is the home of a porn star the proper environment to raise a child?

Ms Lindemulder has since remarried, this time to a man she met in the halfway house where she has been residing since her prison release. Her present husband is purported to be a convicted felon, a lifestyle the porn star says they have put behind them.

Is the lifestyle of a porn star better than a life of crime? An unsubstantiated report from Sandra Bullock Online says that Lindemulder claims that she can be released from rehab sooner than expected if the trial judge will approve of her new occupation - that of an adult video blogger.

Adult video blogger - there's something to put on a resume. What exactly does an adult video blogger do? And how many rungs up the ladder is that from prolific pornographic film star? The only difference I see is that she'll be using a computer monitor rather than a television screen to parade sexual talents. How can you subject an impressionable child to a home filled with smut without exposing her to what mommy does for a living?

As is often the case in California, money may be one factor in determining where Sunny will call home and whether Sandra Bullock will be providing motherly influence to the youngster. I'm sure Bullock's income couldn't be taken into account, but Jesse James is said to have a very high income, whereas Lindemulder still owes a considerable sum in back taxes. However, if her sexual - I mean blogging - talents pay off, she could rake in a goodly sum.

I hope she hires a good tax accountant.

Hmm, very interesting. I hadn't heard anything of this. A bit of a strange situation. I hope whatever happens turns out to be best for the child!

wow, crazy stuff! Thanks for the good reporting

If the mother is seeking visitation rights (rather than full custody) as is indicated in your article- she should get it. Spending every other weekend with mom will not damage the child and if there are no indications the child is being abused by the mother there should be no reason to deny visitation.
Kids are surprisingly matter of fact about their parent's occupation in the sex industry. I have a family member who works in the adult industry. She is a very good mother. Both her 10 yr old daughter and 12 yr old niece know what she does for a living- and they really don't care. Of course, she isn't invited for career day at her daughter's school though :)

I'm with Sandra, she is trying to give the kid a better life.

Boy, how can they explain to that kid what mommy has done for a living?

Bravo to Bullock for braving the public eye on this. In today's society, "porn" is considered making a regular living. Nothin' wrong with it. Ditto Shea.

Why don't people think about the children first and not their own selfish needs? Jeez.

Poor kid! Well, this will certainly be an interesting case to follow.

All states have different rules on this. In North Carolina, where I live, Mom would absolutely be entitled to visitation. It might be supervised visitation, but she would be entitled to something. Biological parents have the right to visit with their kids unless and until their parental rights are terminated.
