Miseal is a mini-projector that is being manufactured in Japan currently by a Japanes company called Sanko. They are a company that is well known for creating unique electronics that are considered a bit on the higher end because of their prices. Currently listed at $469, the Miseal allows you to have a portable projection device that is small enough to fit into your pocket for easy portability. The size is something important because our society is always asking for smaller devices for this exact reason.
To give you an idea as to how small the Miseal is I need to tell you it's dimensions and weight. Believe it or not but this product weights just over a half pound. Most cellphones today weigh more than that! Also, the device is 2.7 inches x 2.7 inches x 2.8inches. The result is a small compact min-projector that comes with the traditional squarish looking design that is similar to most other projectors on the market today.
The specs of the Miseal are also pretty damn amazing. This device has a 100:1 contrast ration and 800x600 SVGA resolution! This allows the mini-projector to have the ability to cast an image up to 16 feet away. In case you do not know what I mean by cast, it basically means that a image can be projected from this distance. On top of this awesome picture quality comes the rather loud 1.2 watt speaker that is built into the projector.
Perhaps the coolest aspect to this entire product would have to be it's ability to be easily transported wherever you want and it's ability to connect to your IPOD and other mobile devices. This will make it easy to watch all of the content you download or the pictures that you take on a more grand scale. Imagine waiting in a restaurant or airport and being able to throw a movie on the wall for everyone who is bored? I bet that would make you popular.
Sanko is not letting anyone know when they plan to bring the projector to the United States. However, the company has gone on record stating that they do plan on bringing it to our country once they fully test out the projector in the Japan market. Japanese people are notorious for getting technology first and offering suggestions to make it better, resulting in the companies revamping their products and releasing them both there and in other countries. Keep posted here to find out when this product is actually brought to the United States.
