The restaurant is a regular hot spot for college students in the University City area, but the comfort food draws in all types. The restaurant is known for its large hoagies, burgers and cheesesteaks. Oversized salads are available for diners who are looking for low calorie options. As of June 2010, Fatboy and Slim's charges $1 for delivery.
