Santa Claus is coming to town! He is quite busy this holiday season but has made some time to stop and visit with both young and old at these following locations.

Davenport's Restaurant on Mendon Road in Cumberland is hosting Santa on Thursday, December 10 from 5-7pm. Once he has a chance to eat an early supper he will be ready to hear what you may want for Christmas this year.

Still in Cumberland, Santa Claus will be joining Mayor McKee for the lighting of the Cumberland Town Christmas Tree at Town Hall on Broad Street Friday, December 11. He is arriving at 6pm to help light the tree and then will move inside to the Town Council chambers to hear your Christmas wishes and take photos. Please bring your own camera for Santa pictures.

He also makes a stop at a home on Curran Road in Cumberland. The elves have created a small village decorated for the season and Santa will be greeting everyone Saturday, December 19 from 5:30-8:30.

Lincoln Mall on George Washington Highway in Lincoln has Santa available for pictures, or just for a private chat, in the center of the mall. He is there now until Christmas Eve, when we all know he has work to do. He is ready to visit Monday through Thursday 11am-8pm, Friday and Saturday 10am-9pm, and Sunday noon-6pm. And a free gift is given to all children who stop by.

The historic Hearthside mansion in Lincoln at 677 Great Road will host a reading of "The Polar Express" on Sunday, December 13. The story will be shared at 1pm and again at 3pm. Listen to the cherished holiday story read aloud by adults, sing holiday carols, and visit with Santa all while enjoying hot cocoa and cookies. Tickets are $10 in advance only by calling (401) 726-0597.

Right over the Cumberland line into Massachusetts is the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro where Santa also makes time to pose for pictures and review Christmas wish lists. Located in the Macy's Home Court, he is available now until Christmas Eve Monday through Saturday 10am-8pm and Sunday noon-6pm. If your children have been especially good this year then make sure to register for a chance to have Santa Claus come directly to your home with a sack full of presents.

No matter where you live in the Northern Rhode Island area, Santa is nearby awaiting your holiday visit.
