Santa Claus Sonnet
What's that sound up in the sky?
I hear bells and jolly laughter.
Oh! You will not believe your eyes!
Eight tiny reindeer and a sleigh coming after.
And who's that laughing in the sleigh?
With his beard and pointy hat?
It's Christmas Eve, today's the day,
It's Santa how 'bout that?
Is he coming to my house?
With his toys and books and candies?
Of course he is, you silly mouse!
From Rhode Island to the Andes!
Down the chimney, his bag unfurled
With gifts for all the boys and girls!
