California's oldest amusement park is original and memorable. The only major seaside amusement park on the Pacific Coast, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk leaves you longing for the old times with the modern thrills available like in any theme park. You can get your fortune told in the old-type arcade, take a ride on the bumper cars, or enjoy yourself on the giant wood roller coaster.
The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk has been described as great fun. It's free to get in, and you only pay for rides you want but as they also offer unlimited ride passes, you can buy these instead. The Giant Dipper roller coaster is a classic and surprisingly exciting for a wooden roller coaster. It's surprisingly famous and the subject of many memories. It is especially famous among children as they have a very good time over here.
The beach itself is rather very clean, fairly large. The waves at the ocean are not so high that they become dangerous. Cowells offer Surf lessons and visitor are permitted to surf at the Cowells surf area. The Dining is said to be good, and not too costly. Lots of small residential places in the area. The sun shines longer giving you more time to enjoy and create the memories during the summer, though it can get quite foggy earlier in the summer.
The Santa Cruz beach in California is perfect for people who love to have a swim and like the smell of the ocean air and the rides.
