The RV sites at Santaland RV Park are full hookup meaning that they have water, sewer and electrical hookups. This is important information as there are some RV sites that only offer electricity and water and have no sewer hookups. If the RVer is only staying a day or two this may not be an important factor to where they are staying, but if they are planning an extended stay, such as someone working at the Flint Hills Resources Refinery may be, then the lack of sewer hookups can become very important. Other amenities at the RV sites, which are big rig friendly, at Santaland RV Park are free cable and wireless internet.
Not only will RVers who choose to stay at Santaland RV Park find full hookup RV sites they will find that they have access to free showers, a laundry facility, a vehicle wash, a shuttle service into Fairbanks during peak months, a gift shop and a book and magazine exchange. They will also be within walking distance of playgrounds, churches, grocery stores and restaurants.
Pets are welcome at Santaland RV Park, in fact they even offer a complimentary pet-sitting service. But there are a few things about having your pet at Santaland that you should know. For example, you can only use the designated pet walking area when you are walking the your dog in order for it to do its business. Be sure you clean up after it does its business. Try to keep it from barking and disturbing the neighbors and no pets are allowed in the RV Park buildings or on the patio area. Also, pets can not be left unattended when they are outside and they must be on a leash that is no longer than six foot long when outside.
Santaland RV Park is not very far from stores that the RVer may need or want to go shopping at. Safeway is one of the closest grocery stores, only 3/10 of a mile away on North Santa Claus Lane, and has a pharmacy as well as groceries. If fast food is a request, then it is good to know that Taco Bell is only 2/10 of a mile northwest on North Santa Claus Lane. Walmart is about 12 miles away on Johansen Expressway in Fairbanks and Sam's Club is only 13 miles away on college Road in Fairbanks.
