The Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S has a computer that fine tunes your cooking. So if you want your rice to be soft then that what your going to get from the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker.
Another feature that I like about the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker is the countdown clock. Cooking rice on the stove can be a hassle because I sometimes forget and I end up over cooking the rice.
If you have a fond love for cooking then you will know that you can cook rice in many different ways. If you like having steamed rice from time to time then you will appreciate the steam basket that comes with the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker.
The Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker comes with a removable top so that way you can easily clean the crevices that need to be cleaned.
Now the one issue I had was the horrible instruction manual that came with the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker. I hate having to try to figure out how to set up products. I end up wasting a lot of my time doing something that should have been explained in the first place. I had to figure out how to correctly operate the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker without messing things up.
Cooking rice in the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker isn't like cooking on the stove. It takes a lot longer to cook rice in the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker than it does on the stove. It took me about 4 hours to cook a handful of rice the way I wanted. Using the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker has to be something you use if you aren't planning to eat a meal any time soon.
Also understand that with the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker, you must soak your brown rice before you cook it in the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker. Double the work but it has to be done. The most you are capable of cooking in the Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker is four cups of rice. Which is a nice amount of rice for a prison. The most I ever cook is one cup or two cups for a family of four.
The Sanyo Micom ECJ-D55S rice cooker is a lot cheaper than your average computerized rice cooker but it works just as well as the expensive ones.
