Was Sarah Ferguson Invited to Prince William's Wedding?

Sarah tells "Oprah" that she was not invited to Prince William's wedding. She wanted to be there with her daughters, but she could not. She told "Oprah" that it was difficult not being there with her daughters. She explains that Diana would have been proud of her son. Sarah was in Thailand on the day of the wedding. She said that they were quite right not to have invited her, because of the way she acted.

Sarah Ferguson's Life as a Royal Princess

Sarah married Prince Andrew and lived in the Royal Palace in London. Her life there was nothing like before. She had four ladies in waiting and they would do anything for her like pick up anything that she dropped. "Oprah" was very surprised and shocked to hear this. It was clearly an insane way to live according to "Oprah." Sarah tells "Oprah" that when she had her first daughter, Beatrice, Prince Andrew was away for months and she said she just wanted to see him. Everyone thought she was completely mad when she left her baby to go looking for Prince Andrew in Australia. She was not used to this kind of life and she just wanted to see her husband.

Sarah Ferguson's Life Was Out of Control

After her divorce, Sarah's life was out of control. She wanted compassion from anyone. She was naive. She needed help she told "Oprah." She is now going to appear on the Oprah Winfrey Network with her show called "Finding Sarah." This series will show Sarah trying to find herself again. She tells "Oprah" that she had it all, but she blew it. She should have known more about herself back then. She wished she had known who she was and not to have waited 25 years later to find out. Sarah now believes that everyone should take a moment to connect with themselves and ask questions in their head when they feel they need to.

Sarah Ferguson Seeks Help From Doctor Phil

Sarah mate Doctor Phil. "Oprah" said she recommended it and that he is very good at sorting out what is wrong. Doctor Phil asked Sarah what was not working in her life and Sarah answered that it was her head. She said she lived with nostalgic regrets. She told Doctor Phil that she believed it was her fault that her mother left her and her father. She believed that she was worthless and unlovable. Her father used to tell her she acted like a clown, so one day she said she realized she should shut up. Doctor Phil asked Sarah how her mother died and then he said that she just told him about a horrifyingly tragic end to her mother's life like she was ordering lunch. She asked him if she should be different. He tells her that she behaves like an addict and that she is addicted to approval and acceptance. Doctor Phil believes that she will do anything to get it and that she will put herself in situations just to receive it. Sarah tells "Oprah" that she nearly hugged Doctor Phil for telling her this.

Sarah Ferguson Talks About Lady Diana

Sarah told "Oprah" that she had been best friends with Diana since the age of 14. She explains that Diana once told her that when you are at the top of the pedestal you can fall off and when you are at the bottom you can grow. She loved Diana with all her heart. She, also, tells "Oprah" that she reminds her of Diana. She explains that Diana was very funny and that "Oprah" has the same energy as Diana had. "Oprah" felt this was a huge compliment from Sarah.

I can't begin to understand what goes on in other people's minds, but it does appear as if the Duchess of York has had a roller coaster ride along the way.
