Sarah Hailey Foxwell - Will a Killer Be Brought to Justice

Ever since Sarah Hailey Foxwell's body was found on Christmas Day I have been hoping for the conviction of her kidnapper/rapist/murderer. Well, T.J. Leggs has not been brought to full justice yet but I do have a greater respect for the state of Maryland now that they are seeking the death penalty for this repeat offender.

I have to admit, I have never been this close to this type of case. Since I was a child I have been curious about serial killers and have researched many including Ted Bundy, the BTK killer, Aileen Wuornos, Jack the Ripper, Jeffrey Dahlmer, and Charles Manson (even though Charles did not actually commit the murders himself he still peaked my interest). But, all of these people committed their crimes hundreds of miles from where I lived at the time.

So when I heard about Sarah Hailey Foxwell's abduction from her home in Salisbury Maryland, I was glued to the tv and the internet waiting for the latest news. I even wrote a series of articles myself about the abduction and search for Sarah Foxwell and the arrest of the alleged abductor who has now been charged with murder as well.

And, thanks to the wonderful state of Maryland, Sarah will see justice. I have faith that her killer will soon join her in whatever place it is that we end up after our bodies are dead.

And that makes me smile.

I know some of you may think that I am sadistic or mean in some way for smiling over a man losing his life. But, this man, Thomas James (T.J.) Leggs was not only a repeat offender but had integrated into Sarah's Foxwell's life by dating her aunt.

Pedophiles are a sick bunch and are in fact the only people I judge in this life. I am not perfect and do not have the right to judge others, but in the case of Rape, especially against a child, I can not help but wish only the worst possible punishment for these individuals. In my eyes, Rape is the most horrible crime and I see no reason why anyone could justify this type of a crime.

So, hopefully Thomas James (T.J.) Leggs will get what he deserves and I hope that Sarah Hailey Foxwell personally delivers his punishment. It is most certainly heinous crimes of this nature that demand only the most severe punishment available. And since I doubt that it is possible for a repeat Rapist to ever fully understand the horridness of his or her crime and thus it is impossible for him/her to repent, only the Death Penalty will do.
