Sarah Palin in Auburn NY? You Betcha!!!

A Special Guest Visits Auburn for the Founders Day Celebration

Auburn, NY-- A small city in Central New York, welcomes Sarah Palin for the Founders Day Celebration that will take place downtown on June 6th, 2009. Residents of Auburn have been looking forward to the parade and other festive events, less than 2 weeks after the annual Duck Derby. News of Sarah Palin's appearance has just been announced and the entire city is abuzz! This is the biggest guest Auburn has had since... ever.

Auburn city hall is adourned with a gigantic flag to provide a warm welcome the governor of Alaska, and former vice-presidential cantidate, Sarah Palin. The parade will take place at 11 am, coming up E. Genessee Street and coming to an end on Loop Road where a Public Address will be held, featuring Sarah Palin as a guest speaker. (This is estimated to begin at noon.)

Throughout the day there will be live entertainment, open tours of local museums, and a fun-for-all-ages celebration of our history with, no doubt, special attention given to the 50th anniversary of the purchase of Alaska.
