Sarah Palin: Reaction to the Big Speech

Luke Wilson
Let me start by saying Gov. Sarah Palin seems like a very nice, attractive, clearly smart woman so like most of the people watching the Republican Convention I was interested in what she had to say. Lets be frank I hadn't heard of her before, and judging how the media is swarming they hadn't either.

I was eager to hear what she had to say, I mean if John McCain wins this is the woman that would be President, so I believe as Americans we have the right to know everything there is to know about her when it comes to her political life. I am not interested in her daughter begin pregnant that is just an unfortunate reality in the USA these days.

What I am interested in hearing is what she and John McCain are planning to do for this country besides trying to scare Americans into voting for them. This was supposed to be her introduction to America ---I do not know, She kind of reminds me of Tina Fey.

People I believe want to hear about what your plans are for the country. Barack Obama's not there, tell me what your plans are. I did not here anything, no solutions for the American families. I have a sister who can crack wise with a smile with the best of them, but that does not mean I want her one heartbeat away from being the President.

I don't know how Sarah Palin's going to play to the rest of the country, I suppose there will be some that join them in there bin for the white House simply because she's a woman on the ticket, but my gut tells me that her performance won't move many people once they start getting into the really issues. When a top McCain man says this election's not about the issues, then what's it about.

Agree/disagree with Obama and Biden at least their out there telling the American people what they intend to do if elected I haven't heard that from John McCain or frankly his wise cracking sidekick.

I listen for 30 min to this barrage of negativity waiting to learn what would qualify her to be President if something happened to John McCain I didn't hear it. But then again I guess she did what she came to do and that was fire up, and she clearly did that.
